Bibriograpic Study on the Eye - acupuncture therapy

Abstract
|

|
Throgh studies on 22 documents from Hwang Ti Nei Ching to the most recent ones, following conclusions concerning eye and the eye-acupuncture were obtained.
1. The eye-acupuncture is one of the new acupuncture treatments which cures the diserses of the whole body through acupuncture the points around the surface of eye ball and orbit.
2. The eye-acupuncture divided eyeball into eight channel-section and appointed the bisected orbit area as 13 acupoints. In diagnosis and treatment, differntiation of symptoms and signs was performer after observing the change of color and structure of blood vessels on bullar conjucture, and appoints were taken from the corresponding channel-section as therapy.
3. The eye-acupuncture can be applied to disease of the whole body and mainly applied to hemiparalysis caused by cerebral thrombosis, cerebral heamdrihage, hemorihage of sub arachanoid and symptoms accompanying pain such as neuratic headache, sprain of wrist and ankle joint intercostal neuralgia.
